I am the library media specialist at The Wheatlands. I am very excited to be your child`s teacher in the learning resource center.I started teaching at The Wheatlands during the 2002-2003 school year. I have taught first, second, third, and fourth grade, so I definitely have a vast understanding of curriculum and child development. I have a love for teaching because I am a lifelong learner. In 2005, I graduated from Rockford College, in Rockford, Ill., with a master’s degree. Finally in 2013, I completed my endorsement in educational technology from Aurora University, in Aurora, Ill.I am passionate about my job and being able to share great books with students. My focus is to foster a love of reading in my students and to help them develop technology skills and research strategies.I look forward to a fabulous time this year in the LRC!!
